If you are not presently a member of the New York State Bowling Proprietors Association, we encourage you to become a member. Without a strong and active trade association, the bowling industry in New York State would face perilous times ahead. When you consider our many accomplishments over the past several years, the challenges which stand before us, and the many benefits offered by our Association, you'll realize it's a wise move to join the New York State BPA.
Who can join the NYS BPA?
.....any Person, Partnership or Corporation that is engaged in the business of maintaining and operating a bowling establishment for public use.

Congratulations to NYS BPA Secretary Joe LaSpina!!
Joe was recently recognized by the Long Island Business News as an outstanding member of the business community on Long Island who are under the age of 40. The 2012 "40 Under 40" Awards were presented at the Crest Hollow Country Club in Woodbury on January 26th.
After graduating from George Washington University in 2000, studying philosophy and history, then working a short stint in publishing, Joe joined the family business, Maple Family Centers, a chain of bowling centers launched by his grandfather 50 years ago. As vice president of Maple Family Centers, which has five bowling centers located in Nassau, Suffolk, Brooklyn and Queens, he oversees all aspects of operation within each facility.
Joe has been involved in organizing and hosting dozens of fundraising events each year and last year raised more than $500,000 for local charities. One of Maple Family Centers largest charitable involvements has been with Bowlers to Veterans Link, supporting veterans as well as active military personnel. With Joe's help, Maple Family Centers has been able to send several portable bowling kits to men and women serving overseas.
Well deserved Joe! Congrats!!
